How to Try to Avoid Injuries
Injuries can happen anywhere and at anytime. In the gym there are many ways to avoid injuries. One of the best ways to avoid it is by having a partner to workout with. Partners are essential for when you are working out at the gym. For example when you are benching you need someone to spot you from behind just in case you are failing with the weight. This way the bar cant land on your chest or even worse your neck when you are failing. Another way to prevent injuries is by stretching. Some people might say that stretching is unnecessary but trust me it is not. Why do you think every sport stretches before they compete? If you work out without stretching you are asking for problems. Some people are ignorant and don't stretch and say they don't need to but eventually they are going to face an injury just because they don't want to spend an extra 5 minutes to stretch. Stretching allows the muscle to get loose progressively instead of going straight to working out with heavy weight when your muscles are tight and not warmed up. Also when you stretch you are able to get a better work out.
Theres a Difference Between Sore and Injury
Many people after they work out they believe that they are injured and that they are doing something wrong. Well this is a wrong assumption because you are not injured, your muscles are just sore. Every time you work out your body should feel sore. That's how you know you got a great workout! But sometimes you do have to worry if you feel something is wrong and that the pain your feeling is not the usual sore you feel something may be wrong. My suggestion is let that muscle rest and stretch it, if it still feels bad after a week get it checked out by a doctor. Don't work out the part of the muscle that is in pain or else you will make it worse. Obviously a broken bone or a sprained muscle is an injury but a muscle that you worked out the day before and you feel that you cant even move does not mean you are injured.

Being Fit Can Be Cheap!
Not always do you have to go to a gym to get a work out. There are many workouts that can be done anywhere. For example push ups, sit ups, squats, running, etc. All these can be done without wasting any money. If money is an issue and you can't afford a monthly membership, buy a pull up bar and or some dumbbells. If used correctly you will see results, probably not as fast or as much as if you went to a gym but something is better than nothing. Many people are becoming obese in America and there are many ways to prevent from being obese. For example working out and eating correctly with your workouts. So if you are a person who thinks that losing weight is impossible for you, it really isn't. You do not have to have to go to a gym to lose weight. Just have motivation to work out and you can succeed in working out even without going to the gym.
Working Out Improves Confidence
Confidence is the belief in ones self. Working out has been proven to increase your confidence. This is because after you work out you feel good and when you feel good you do good and have more confidence. For example I used to be afraid of going to the gym because I feared how people would view me while I was doing little weight. Now that I have gone to the gym a lot and gotten stronger I have become more comfortable going there and realized that I love working out. Another example is many kids are self conscious of how they look fat, skinny, or just do not like their body. Going to the gym helps people change how they look and look how they want to have the confidence to do what they want. I am not saying that you have to look fit to be confidence but it definitely boost your confidence when people compliment on how you look. So just start going to the gym to gain confidence if you are afraid of taking of your shirt when you go to the pool, afraid to speak to girls or guys, or afraid of bullies.

Join a Team Workout Program
Although this is not necessary, it is a good way to get motivation and to get intense! Football workout programs are great. They teach you how to workout with intensity, to be explosive in your workouts, and is a good way to make friends. Working out programs will put you in groups so that you can have people to motivate you and coach you to tell you if you are doing your workouts correctly. The coaches will teach you how to workout and will answer personal questions and help ypu to achieve what you want to achieve. They can teach you workouts and correct you and your group to do the workouts right. This is a good basic structure to develop your work out life. These programs will work out every muscle and with this you will learn what to do when you go to the gym and how you should work out.
Working Out With a Friend
When you work out you should always work out with a friend. Someone who will push you and motivate you to do more weight. Also you want to workout with a friend so that you are not afraid to do more weight than you usually do since you have someone to make sure the weight doesn't fall on you this person is called a spotter. You want a friend who will push you to your limits and make you want to do more weight. Not someone who slacks because you will slack too and never see results. So get someone who pushes you and who you can rely on them for going with you to the gym most of the times you go. Also a person who is committed. It has been proven by many studies that by working out with a friend people get stronger, faster, and overall see better results.
